Job summary

Munters Corporation is seeking a Data Center HVAC Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites for start-up, commissioning and repair of data center equipment. You will diagnose issues, execute commissioning plans, and provide on-site training and detailed reports.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC/mechanical trades, strong electrical troubleshooting, refrigeration expertise, and effective communication. Travel up to 90% and a safety-conscious, independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC field or mechanical trades.
• Extensive electrical troubleshooting experience with data center equipment.
• Strong refrigeration knowledge: pressure testing, evacuating and charging systems.
• Experience with PLCs, controls, and ability to communicate with PLC software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, commissioning, warranty and billable service on Munters Data Center equipment and systems.
• Travel up to 90% across the USA by plane and car.
• Provide customer training and field service reports; coordinate with other trades onsite.
• Respond quickly to service requests and support on-site teams during projects.
