Job summary

Munters is hiring a Data Center Service Technician to travel to customer sites, primarily in the Seattle, WA area, for startup, commissioning and safe troubleshooting of Data Center equipment.

You will diagnose electrical and refrigeration systems, perform on-site start-ups, and coordinate with other trades. A strong ability to work independently, manage field projects, and provide clear field reports is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical/HVAC fields.
• Extensive electrical troubleshooting knowledge and data recording.
• Familiarity with safety procedures incl. Arc flash and lockout/tagout.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, pressure testing, evacuation and charging.
• Proficient in brazing and soldering; universal refrigeration card.
• Experience with PLCs and controls; ability to access and modify PLCs.
• State Licensed Master HVAC mechanic (optional).

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, commissioning, warranty and billable service on data center equipment.
• Maintain and protect Munters equipment.
• Respond to service requests from customers or management.
• Provide customer training on Munters equipment.
• Provide detailed field service reports.
• Coordinate with other trades and services on-site.
