Job summary

Munters is seeking a Field Service Technician HVAC for Data Center applications in the Portland, OR area. The role requires independent work, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to coordinate with other trades onsite.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HVAC/mechanical fields, extensive electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration expertise, with readiness to travel up to 90% across the USA. Training and PPE compliance are expected as part of safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the mechanical/HVAC field.
• Frequent travel up to 90% across the USA by plane and car.
• Electrical troubleshooting and data recording proficiency.
• Arc flash, lockout/tagout safety training and PPE knowledge.
• Refrigeration systems testing, evacuation, and charging expertise.
• Controls knowledge: PLCs and various platforms; ability to connect to PLCs.
• State Licensed Master HVAC (optional).

Responsibilities

• Perform factory start-up, commissioning, warranty and billable service on Munters Data Center equipment and systems.
• Maintain and protect Munters equipment and property.
• Respond in a timely manner to all requests for service from customers or management.
• Provide customer training on Munters equipment.
• Provide technical feedback on equipment using detailed field service reports.
