Job summary

MasTec is seeking a Superintendent II to coordinate all activities on a construction jobsite, aiming to complete work ahead of schedule, within budget and to specifications. The role involves supervising crews, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safety compliance on site.

Responsibilities include leading multiple crews, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining look-ahead schedules, and delivering accurate project documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs.
• Ability to forecast and monitor costs.
• Understanding of scheduling and blueprint reading.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and crews.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.
• Must supervise multiple crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with safety policies.
• Supervise up to 60+ employees and subcontractors.
• Coordinate activities of multiple subcontractors.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain project documentation and reports.
• Hire and train field staff as needed.
