Job summary

Memorial Hermann TMC seeks an experienced Adult Trauma Program Manager to lead the trauma program within a Level 1 setting. The role partners with process owners, leaders and physicians to drive performance improvement, injury prevention, education, and trauma registry operations.

Responsibilities include data synthesis for quality improvement, collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director, and maintaining designation by state and national bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Nursing is required; Masters preferred.
• Current Texas Nursing License required; ENPC/PALS, TNCC or ATCN required.
• Own AIS Injury Coding & ICD-10 trauma knowledge or willingness to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trauma department operations and performance.
• Monitor quality of patient care during hospitalization.
• Collaborate on performance improvement projects with leaders.
• Coordinate with Trauma Service for multidisciplinary reviews.
• Ensure designation/verification requirements by TSHS and ACS.
