Job summary

The Hebrew Home at Riverdale's Weinberg Center for Elder Justice seeks a Senior Elder Justice Specialist / Social Worker for immediate full-time service. You'll provide trauma-informed counseling, advocacy and case management for a small caseload.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create safety and care plans, train professionals on elder mistreatment, and assist with grant reports. LMSW or LCSW is required; geriatrics or elder abuse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• LMSW or LCSW required.
• Experience preferred in geriatrics, elder abuse, health care, domestic violence, and program development.
• Trauma-informed, client-centered approach with anti-oppressive lens.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 trauma-informed counseling, advocacy and case management.
• Develop trauma-informed plans of care and safety plans for clients.
• Advocate on behalf of clients within systems of care.
• Collaborate with team to complete grant reports in a timely manner.
• Help develop trainings for professionals about elder mistreatment and trauma-informed care.
