Job summary

Miebach Consulting is seeking a Senior Transportation Consultant to lead transportation-focused engagements for global clients. This role blends transportation expertise with project leadership to assess, design, and optimize transportation operations across the supply chain.

You will work with transportation leaders to evaluate networks, guide governance, systems, and processes, and drive improvements through TMS implementations, international freight optimization, and data-driven decision

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in transportation.
Experience in project-based work and/or consulting.
Knowledge of TMS software and transportation visibility tools.
Experience with international shipping, import/export, and ocean freight.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead transportation-focused consulting engagements for global clients.
Evaluate current transportation networks and identify governance, systems, and process improvements.
Advise on best practices for transportation organization design and performance management.
Lead or support TMS selection and implementation initiatives.
Improve data visibility and transportation performance monitoring.
