Job summary

Miebach Consulting is seeking a Senior Transportation Consultant to lead transportation-focused engagements for global clients. The role combines deep transportation expertise with project leadership to assess, design, and optimize transportation across the supply chain.

Travel of 25–50% is required. You will work with clients on strategy, governance, systems, and operating models, delivering practical, data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in transportation consulting or related field.
• Experience in project-based work, or consulting engagements.
• Knowledge of TMS software and transportation visibility tools.
• Experience with international shipping, import/export, and ocean freight.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as transportation SME for client engagements and lead end-to-end assessments of governance, systems, processes, and operating models.
• Lead or support TMS selection and implementation initiatives.
• Analyze global transportation flows, including ocean and air freight, and optimize cross-border logistics.
• Manage project scope, deliverables, and timelines; facilitate workshops and solution design sessions.
• Build relationships with client transportation leaders and collaborate with global teams.
