You will oversee active design projects, serve as Functional Manager for FDOT D3 Operations, and coordinate scoping, constructability reviews, and time calculations.

A Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and Florida PE license are required, with 10+ years in DOT programs; strong communication and independent work style essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering License in Florida is required.
• 10+ years of experience on state DOT transportation projects (PD&E, Planning, Design, CEI, Maintenance, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• GEC Project Management of Active FDOT D3 Design Projects.
• Functional Manager overseeing GEC support of FDOT D3 Transportation Operations.
• Prepare standard scope of services for design projects.
• Oversee development of conceptual designs for candidate Traffic Operations projects (turn lane additions, signalization, and traffic safety improvements).
• Provide Constructability Reviews for FDOT D3 on assigned projects.
• Provide contract time calculations for assigned projects.
• Coordinate Verification Testing assignments with subconsultants.
