Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Phoenix seeks an experienced Transportation Project Manager with strong roadway and transportation design expertise. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee delivery, and manage client relationships while expanding the Arizona practice and ADOT presence.

The role emphasizes project leadership, business development, and mentorship, with a focus on serving ADOT and municipal clients across Arizona.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona, or ability to obtain Arizona registration within four months of hire.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing and delivering transportation projects.
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary transportation projects for ADOT and/or Arizona public agencies.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining relationships and providing project leadership.
Manage transportation projects from planning and design through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Lead multidisciplinary teams of roadway, drainage, traffic, structures, utilities, environmental, and subconsultant staff.
Develop project execution strategies, work plans, schedules, and staffing plans.
Monitor project budgets, resources, and schedules, identifying risks and issues.
Oversee the preparation, review, and quality control of engineering designs, reports, studies, and construction documents.
Coordinate with ADOT, municipalities, regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and project partners.
Lead business development activities, including client engagement, opportunity tracking, and proposal development.
Identify and pursue new opportunities with ADOT and local agencies to grow practice.
Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering technical excellence and growth.
