Job summary

Bartlett & West, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil transportation initiatives, including roads, highways, interchanges and related stormwater work.

The successful candidate will manage scope, budget and schedule, coordinate design offices and client communication, develop proposals, ensure quality, and mentor junior staff. Travel up to 50% will be required, with duties based in the San Antonio area under Bartlett & West’s project management team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in civil engineering projects with increasing responsibility.
• P.E. licensure required.
• Willing to travel 50%+ of the year with regular travel between home base and Topeka / client locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, mechanical/electrical or architectural engineering, or equivalent in combined education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects, including scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
• Develop project deliverables and oversee design surveys, plans and cost estimates.
• Coordinate invoicing, time charge reviews, and accounts receivable per policy.
• Monitor progress and profitability; adjust resources and methods as needed.
• Maintain client relationships and participate in business development.
