Job summary

Bartlett & West seeks an experienced Project Manager focused on transportation projects in civil engineering. You will manage project scope, schedules and budgets while leading design teams and ensuring client satisfaction from kickoff through closeout.

The role requires 8+ years of civil engineering experience and a P.E. license, with travel about 10% to client sites and meetings. You will drive profitability and maintain compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil engineering project experience with increasing responsibility.
• P.E. licensure required in at least one state.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or related engineering field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, estimates, budgets and schedules to meet client expectations.
• Direct production of deliverables: plans, cost estimates, surveys, designs and specs.
• Monitor project financials, invoicing, A/R and WIP per company policy.
• Coordinate resource assignments and production methods for profitability.
• Communicate with clients regularly and document progress meetings.
• Close out contracts and evaluate project performance relative to budget.
