Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager for Central Texas, focused on leading complex transportation and highway projects.

The role combines strong technical transportation expertise with team leadership, coordination with agencies, and oversight from design through construction. The ideal candidate will manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, review plans and calculations, and provide technical leadership while mentoring engineers and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of relevant transportation/civil experience.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Experience managing engineering projects and leading design teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while mentoring others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction of transportation projects.
• Mentor EITs, PEs, CAD staff, and subconsultants.
• Plan and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and documents.
• Coordinate with TxDOT and local municipalities on requirements and approvals.
• Provide technical leadership and quality control throughout delivery.
• Participate in construction-phase activities such as site visits and progress meetings.
• Apply current engineering standards and best practices to complex assignments.
