Job summary
DCCM seeks a highly experienced Sr. Project Manager / Transportation Practice Leader to shape and expand our Central Texas transportation practice. You will lead complex projects, mentor leaders, and drive strategic growth across the region.
The role emphasizes technical leadership in schematic design, corridor studies, and multimodal improvements, while building strong client relationships with TxDOT, counties, and municipalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- 15+ years of progressive experience leading transportation projects.
- Extensive experience delivering transportation projects for public-sector agencies.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and business development skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead transportation projects for Central Texas public-sector clients from planning to final delivery.
- Drive business development across the Austin region with TxDOT, counties, and municipalities.
- Provide technical leadership in schematic design, corridor studies, and roadway design.
- Mentor and develop project managers, engineers, and junior staff.
- Recruit, retain, and grow transportation professionals; manage risk and client satisfaction.
