Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of transportation/civil engineering experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience managing engineering projects and leading design teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead multidisciplinary groups.
• Experience coordinating with TxDOT or municipalities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction of transportation projects.
• Manage and mentor EITs, PEs, CAD/design staff, and subconsultants.
• Plan and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with TxDOT and local municipalities regarding project requirements, permitting, and approvals.
• Provide technical leadership and quality control throughout project delivery.
• Participate in construction-phase activities including site visits, submittal reviews, and progress meetings.
• Apply current engineering standards, regulations, and best practices to complex transportation assignments.
