Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Virginia Beach, VA to lead interdisciplinary teams in delivering transportation projects. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, safety, and quality control while coordinating bid packages and preconstruction activities.

You will drive risk analysis, schedule optimization, and strong client relationships, reporting to senior leadership on key initiatives and project outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
10+ years of construction experience.
Experience in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead interdisciplinary teams to deliver construction projects.
Participates in design and execution of safety and quality control activities.
Responsible for staffing and budgetary controls.
Assist in bid package development, pre-qualification activities, and budget preparation.
Lead preconstruction meetings and coordinate RFIs.
Analyze risk and schedule-related issues, including long-lead items.
Maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Oversee project close-out and claim resolution.
Serve as primary contact for senior leadership on critical initiatives.
