Arora and Associates, PC is seeking a qualified candidate for a leadership role in the Chicago, Illinois area. The civil/traffic/transportation project team leader will manage a team of engineers, oversee multiple concurrent projects for Illinois transportation agencies, coordinate subconsultants, ensure QA/QC adherence, visit sites, communicate with clients, and assist with business development.

A strong emphasis on design standards, policies, and effective communication is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, traffic engineering, transportation planning or equivalent.
• Experience includes responsibilities for Illinois transportation agencies such as IDOT, Tollway, local agencies and planning organizations.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead civil/traffic/transportation projects and manage a team of engineers and planners.
• Oversee design of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring technical accuracy, schedule and budget adherence.
• Coordinate subconsultants and visit project sites to troubleshoot construction issues; prepare technical and cost proposals.

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
