Job summary

TYPSA, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead transportation projects, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and mentor project teams. Travel may be required as part of delivering complex programs.

Ideal candidates have a BSCE and 10+ years in transportation; PE registration or international credentials are preferred. The position offers a robust benefits package and a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least ten years of transportation project experience.
• Post-graduate degree with international registration or PE exam passed within a year.
• PE registration in admissible states is preferred.
• DOT and municipal engineering experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to confirm scopes of work and develop proposals.
• Prepare fee proposals for civil design and construction oversight.
• Develop external project schedules with clients.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and project teams on technical requirements.
• Create Work Plans, schedules, and Work Breakdown Structures.
• Secure resources with group leaders and monitor production.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality; notify client of modifications.
• Lead complex projects and mentor junior project managers.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
