Qualifications

• Five or more years of roadway design experience.
• Strong written communication skills for technical memoranda, reports, proposals, contracts.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical supervision of transportation components for complex projects.
• Coordinate technical activities among design disciplines and sub‑consultants.
• Prepare plan sets, special provisions, and cost estimates for roadway design.

Skills

Roadway design experience

Knowledge of RIDOT standards

Experience with Complete Streets

Education

Bachelor’s of Science in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline

Professional Engineering License or work toward licensure
