Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• 8+ years of civil transportation engineering experience.
• Professional licensure as a PE in the states required or ability to obtain.
• Experience with highway design standards and DOT processes.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical specialist in transportation projects.
• Develops plans and specifications for state and municipal transportation projects.
• Will focus on roadway, drainage, and traffic signal design work.
• Performs traffic analysis/traffic studies as needed.
• Writes technical reports and conducts conceptual design studies.
• Provides internal technical advice to project managers throughout the company for the purpose of preparing proposals and developing client presentations.
• Collaborates with a project manager with project planning and provides technical guidance on the development of the project scope, concepts and strategies to be used.
