AECOM is seeking a Transportation Planning professional in Oakland, CA to lead complex transit studies and regional planning efforts. The role requires advanced technical analyses, stakeholder engagement, and funding strategy development within a multidisciplinary team.

You will support air quality improvements, congestion reduction, and project development with experience in GIS, Python/SQL, and dashboarding tools like Power BI. Occasional travel and telecommuting options are available.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years in transportation-related planning, or a Master's with 6 years.
• Proficiency with GIS tools (ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Online) and environmental clearance.
• Strong data analytics, Python/SQL programming, and Power BI dashboarding.
• Experience presenting to public agencies, private sector clients, and elected officials.
• NEPA and CEQA knowledge is required or highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead advanced technical analyses for transit and multimodal studies.
• Develop funding strategies and coordinate with office teams.
• Support environmental clearance and feasibility analyses for regional plans.
• Present findings to advisory boards and senior leadership.
• Mentor staff, conduct peer reviews, and contribute to standards development.
• Travel up to 5% domestically in the Bay Area; may telecommute up to 3 days/week.
