Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3+ years or Bachelor’s with 5+ years of related experience.
• Florida Driver's License required; AICP Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation planning and FDOT processes advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research and prepares data for long-range and strategic transportation planning projects.
• Provides quarterly reporting of transportation activities for FDOT grant reimbursement package.
• Reviews development permits and traffic studies for compliance with LOS standards and capacity.
• Leads Transportation Strategy Master Plan and Long Range Transportation Plans; coordinates with cities for FDOT 5-year Work Plan.
• Represents the County at public hearings, agency meetings, and community events.
