Job summary

gpac LLC. seeks an experienced Professional Engineer to join the Transportation team as a Project Manager. You will lead transportation projects from concept to construction, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the main client contact in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years in transportation/civil engineering.
• Proven track record leading projects, teams, and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of roadway design, drainage, traffic, and utilities.
• Experience with DOT and local agency standards, plan development, and project delivery.
• Budgeting, proposals, and project financials.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation projects from concept through construction.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage communications.
• Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes.
• Coordinate across disciplines (traffic, structures, drainage, surveying, planning, environmental).
• Mentor junior engineers and staff; ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
• Support business development and identify opportunities with public agencies.
