Saddle Creek Logistics Services seeks a Senior Transportation Manager to guide daily operations, strategic planning, client relationships, and service metrics while leading Supervisors and drivers to align with company goals.

The position leads a team of Supervisors and hourly associates to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic policies to drive profitable growth in order to deliver company goals.Manage departmental budget and P&L, keeping expenses under control to deliver the operating plan.Lead and develop a team of associates while maintaining accountability to company policies.Must become a systems super user and drive efficiencies through systemic improvements.Establish a Lean culture and drive impactful results.Work diligently with various Saddle Creek warehousing, transportation, and support associates to deliver near flawless execution to our client base.Develop strong relationships with Saddle Creek partners, clients , contractors, and vendors in a manner that supports Saddle Creek’s core values.Assist with administrative duties to ensure receivables and payables are properly allocated to keep clean financials.Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding transportation operations.Directly supervises associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
