Job summary

Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP in Atlanta is seeking a proactive Transportation Litigation Senior Attorney. You will handle complex litigation for a large international logistics provider, with strong focus on transportation regulations and emerging issues.

The role offers a challenging caseload and collaboration with colleagues nationwide. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of casualty litigation, trial experience, and first/second chair capabilities, plus NY admission.

Qualifications

• Must have JD from ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in New York.
• 8+ years of general casualty litigation experience.
• First and/or second chair trial experience strongly desired.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with analytical and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a litigation caseload from start to finish.
• Conduct legal research on transportation laws, regulations, and standards.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in negotiations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices to support cases.
• Draft case analyses for clients to inform proactive resolution strategies.
