Job summary

Consor is seeking a senior transportation construction inspector to support major infrastructure projects in the Portland metropolitan area. You will provide extensive field inspection oversight on roadways, bridges, and transit facilities, coordinating with project managers, owners, and design teams to ensure safe, compliant project delivery.

This role requires 8+ years of construction inspection experience on transportation projects, knowledge of ODOT and TriMet requirements, and strong

Qualifications

• 8+ years of transportation construction inspection experience.
• Experience with ODOT and TriMet projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.
• Proficiency with MS Office and electronic construction management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of transportation projects across highways, bridges, and transit facilities.
• Verify contractor compliance with plans, specs, permits and safety standards.
• Document earthwork, paving, drainage, structures, and traffic control activities.
• Review schedules, submittals, and testing results.
• Monitor quantities for pay estimates and progress payments.
• Maintain detailed daily reports and field records.
