VTA's Engineering and Program Delivery Division seeks a Senior Transportation Engineer for the Quality Assurance Group under the Technical Services Department. The role leads the QA team, ensuring CQMP development and audits across planning, design, procurement, construction and closeout for highway, rail, transit and facilities projects.
Ideal candidate brings CA PE license, 5+ years in transportation, and experience in quality control/assurance; strong leadership and communication to
Competenze
- CA Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- At least five years of professional engineering experience in transportation.
- Experience implementing quality control/assurance within a Quality Assurance Program.
- Experience designing capital improvement projects for highway, rail, transit, or facilities.
Mansioni
- Lead the QA team and supervise professional transportation engineers.
- Develop and review CQMPs and oversee audits and surveillance.
- Review design and construction contracts and supervise performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and public agencies.
- Manage day‑to‑day activities of the QA group.
