The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience, and is a registered Professional Engineer. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in highway or municipal design.
• Project management experience including scope, schedule, and budget control.
• Connectivity with local municipalities in the St. Louis area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-level project design and review of project documents.
• Serves as a technical specialist, applying advanced engineering concepts.
• Performs QA/QC to ensure delivery of completed designs meets quality standards.
• Conducts research in areas of considerable scope and complexity.
• Advises and directs staff on design approaches.
• Works collaboratively to promote efficiencies.
• Contributes to the development of standards for engineering activities.
• Supervises and mentors less experienced staff.
