Job summary

Merraine Group in Idaho and the Rocky Mountain Region seeks a Senior Transportation Engineer stepping into a Group Leader/Director role to anchor services and growth. You will lead technical design, mentor a team, and drive business development with a client-facing approach.

You will shape project delivery, manage finances, and pursue backlog opportunities with support from the BD and leadership teams, leveraging a network of transportation peers at a national firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive design and engineering experience with a managerial/leadership track.
• PE registration is required.
• Established relationships with transportation agencies in ID and surrounding areas including ITD, WSDOT and ACHD.
• Proven experience transitioning into project management and client-facing business development.

Responsibilities

• Project & Financial Management: lead projects from inception to completion and manage profitability.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: coach, develop, and inspire engineering staff.
