Qualifications

• Valid NYS CDL with Passenger Endorsements and 1+ years of driving experience.
• Commercial driving experience preferred.
• Drivers must maintain Department of Transportation medical certificate with yearly drug testing.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Must be able to use computer (Office, Adobe, Google workspace).
• Bilingual in Spanish or Greek is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport elderly clients in company van to and from senior centers as scheduled.
• Assist clients into and out of the van, when necessary.
• Ensure safety of clients on board by requiring use of seatbelts and safety devices.
• Legibly complete passenger log daily.
• Collect participants’ contributions daily.
• Deliver food to senior centers when needed.
• Make trips to the bank, post office, etc.
• Assist driver's supervisor in scheduling routes.
• Any additional tasks assigned by the program director.

Skills
