Elderwood Administrative Services seeks a dependable Driver to transport residents to medical facilities and appointments, ensuring safety and comfort. You will operate shuttle vehicles, assist with wheelchairs, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Qualifications

• Twenty-one (21) years of age required.
• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a driving related position.
• Valid state driver license with proper class/endorsement.
• Must be clean driving record with no violations (zero points) and no accidents in the previous 36 months.
• Knowledge of New York Vehicle and Traffic Laws and safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Transporting new admissions from hospitals to Elderwood facilities or other care centers.
• Safely driving medically stable residents to medical appointments and treatment locations.
• Assisting with loading and unloading residents, including those who are wheelchair-bound or have mobility challenges.
