Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a PACE Bus Driver in Riverside, CA to provide safe, timely transportation for participants and help coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a valid CA CDL with passenger endorsement, BLS certification, and clean driving history. Schedule is Monday–Friday 9:30am–6:30pm, with duties including safety checks, route planning, and passenger assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid California commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement required.
• Two years of medical, ADA, pupil, or elderly transportation experience preferred.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions.
• Complete defensive driving and passenger assistance training within three months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 12-passenger bus safely and in accordance with traffic laws and Neighborhood policies.
• Transport participants to day centers, medical facilities, and outings.
• Assist participants in boarding and exiting, including mobility aids.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain records.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Deliver medications and supplies to participants as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and infection control procedures; participate in safety trainings.
