Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering seeks a Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager in Houston, TX, remote work allowed. You will manage roadway/bridge design work, oversee project schedules and budgets, and maintain client and contractor relationships, pursuing business development and fee negotiations.

The role requires 10–15 years’ transportation design and PS&E experience, Texas PE or eligibility within 6 months, MicroStation, OpenRoads, GIS, and strong communication within a team.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of design and design management experience on transportation projects including PS&E.
• Texas license professional engineer or eligible for licensure within 6 months.
• Experience with MicroStation required; GIS preferred; OpenRoads-DU a plus.
• TxDOT pre-certification in Roadway Design, Drainage Design, Structures; other categories a plus.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple ongoing projects.
• Financial performance and quality of work for all assigned projects.
• Prepare monthly client invoices.
• Assure standardized project setup.
• Assure CADD Manual adherence.
• Review contract drawings and specifications for design correctness and constructability.
• Ensure staff levels meet schedule, budget and quality.
• Identify marketing pursuits with Design PMs & TxDOT Practice Leader.
• Develop client staff relationships.
• Prepare scope of work and fee proposals.
• Prepare sub-consultant agreements.
• Assist with annual business plan.
