Pennoni is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for our Transportation team in Scranton, PA. This full-time role leads projects, mentors engineers, and drives transportation design excellence while maintaining strong client relationships.

The position requires a PA professional engineer license and 12+ years of Civil/Transportation experience, with opportunities to influence major roadway projects and team growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related technical discipline).
• At least 12 years of professional Civil Engineering experience, preferably with Transportation Design projects.
• Active P.E. license in PA or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and staff.
• Lead and manage complex engineering tasks and projects.
• Deliver scope, schedule, budget, quality, and profitability of all projects.
• Develop project schedules and cost budgets; analyze financial data.
• Monitor costs and billings with project accounting to meet profits.
