Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead our Transportation team in Scranton, PA on a full-time basis. You will guide complex projects, mentor engineers, and manage scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining profitability.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in civil engineering with transportation design, and a PA P.E. license or the ability to obtain it within six months. You will collaborate with management to reach division goals and client(s) success in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 12+ years of professional Civil Engineering experience, preferably Transportation Design.
• Active PA P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and staff.
• Lead and manage complex transportation projects.
• Develop, monitor, and control project scope, schedule, budget, and profitability.
• Coordinate with project accounting to monitor costs and billings.
• Develop project schedules and cost budgets with strong financial analysis.
• Foster communication and collaboration across teams and clients.
