Job summary

Egis, a leading international engineering, consulting, and infrastructure firm, seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to join the Lochner/Egis team. This role can be based in Denver, OKC, Seattle, Austin or Los Angeles and involves delivering detailed cost estimates across design stages.

You will review estimates, support value engineering, and assist in constructability reviews while collaborating with public and private clients to shape transportation and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10+ years of estimating experience.
Diversified experience in transportation projects (rail, highway, aviation).
FTA guidelines and funding familiarity.
Experience with HCSS HeavyBid and other estimating software.
Professional Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates at preliminary, intermediate, final, and release-for-construction stages of design.
Review estimates prepared by consultants and contractors.
Prepare cost estimates for analyzing value engineering studies.
Assist in constructability reviews.
Support negotiations for contract change modifications and potential claims.
