Job summary

Stantec’s Colorado Construction Management Group seeks a Construction Manager with heavy civil transportation experience for our Colorado Springs or Denver offices. You will monitor contractor work on site, lead the project controls team, and advise the client on issues and remedial actions.

The role requires reading contract documents and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure completion on time and within budget, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Primavera skills are desirable.
• OSHA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management leadership to the project team in support of the client.
• Monitor and report on site work for client approval and advise on remedial actions.
• Lead health, safety, and environmental compliance and develop project safety plans.
• Oversee project controls, scheduling, cost reporting, and documentation production.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure schedule and budget adherence.
• Read and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
