Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. is seeking a Transportation Construction Manager to oversee inspection staff, coordinate with contractors and engineers, and manage daily progress reporting on heavy highway projects.

The role requires 10+ years in construction management/inspection, English proficiency, and relevant certifications (NICET IV or PA PE preferred). Local candidates in the US are favored and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years in Construction Management/Inspection.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and perform basic math for Heavy Highway projects.
• NICET IV or PA PE license required; several PennDOT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction inspection staff and provide direction/mentoring to team.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and job superintendents on plans, specs, materials, equipment, and safety.
• Prepare daily progress reports and track schedules; review change orders and submittals; maintain cost/material records.
