Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. seeks a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for the CSVT project in Snyder County. The role focuses on oversight of plans, materials and safety, with daily reporting and progress tracking.

Ideal candidates have a structures and paving background and NICET/DOE-related certifications; the team will enforce contract requirements and safety protocols across the site. This is a full‑time on‑site position in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and reading/writing in English.
• NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers and job superintendents on plans, specs, materials and safety.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules.
• Check shop drawings and contractor quotations for variations.
• Keep records of quantities and cost of materials used.
• Prepare contractors' progress payment claims and recommend payment.
• May supervise a staff of inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and safety plan.
