Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Transportation Concierge/Van Driver to provide safe, scheduled van transportation for residents. You will assist in route planning, maintain logs, and keep the vehicle clean while supporting activities and ensuring timely repairs.

A team-oriented, courteous professional with a flexible schedule is essential. Responsibilities include assisting the Activities Department, maintaining policies, attending trainings, and reporting incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Safe driving record; provide DMV copy to Executive Director.
• Current driver’s license for vehicle type used by the community.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, co-workers and supervisor.
• Organized and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically and mentally capable of job duties.
• Able to ascend/descend stairs, operate a wheelchair lift, and assist a resident in a wheelchair.
• Represent residence professionally with neat dress and courteous manner.
• Uniforms may be required.
• Flexible schedule including some weekends/evenings.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to residents.
• Provide van transportation on scheduled trips and special activity trips.
• Develop routes and schedules based on resident needs and requests.
• Maintain mileage, repair, trip and expense logs; submit receipts to Life Enrichment Director.
• Keep van clean inside and out.
• Ensure routine maintenance and timely repairs.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor and Harmony Senior Services.
• Assist Activities/Programming with activities as assigned.
• Know policies and procedures pertaining to the department.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
