Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Claims & Litigation Paralegal – Transportation to join our in-house Legal Department. You will manage a significant portfolio of U.S.

transportation-related litigation and claims and work closely with in-house counsel and outside litigation counsel. Responsibilities include evidence preservation after major accidents, drafting litigation documents, coordinating discovery, and maintaining complete case files and calendars.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation/claims/senior paralegal experience.
• Strong preference for trucking/transportation litigation.
• Experience with motor carrier, insurer, TPA or transportation-defence environments.
• Solid U.S. litigation/discovery knowledge and docket management.
• Familiarity with trucking evidence and FMCSA-related documentation.
• Ability to draft legal documents under attorney supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support auto bodily injury, property-damage and transportation litigation/claims.
• Coordinate evidence preservation after significant accidents and collect records.
• Review reports, demand packages, medical records and prepare chronologies.
• Draft answers, affidavits, notices, motions under supervision.
• Assist with interrogatories, requests for production, subpoenas and discovery.
• Prepare exhibits, summaries and trial binders.
• Maintain litigation files, calendars and deadlines.
• Prepare concise case summaries and monitor case strategy and budgets.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and internal departments on case matters.
