Job summary
The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) is seeking a professional engineer to lead a Bridge Program team within Project Development. You will manage the delivery of a portfolio of capital projects, directing engineers, project managers, and technicians to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with at least one year of professional PM experience
- Or 12 years of technical engineering experience with at least three years of PM
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team on complex transportation projects
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain project schedules and budgets, monitor expenditures, adjust budgets, and allocate resources
- Review work progress to ensure compliance with policies, standards, and laws
- Serve as primary contact for municipalities, legislators, planning bodies, and federal partners
- Lead procurement, review proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage external resources
