Job summary

Leavenworth County Kansas is seeking a Transportation Driver - IOC for the Southern Leavenworth County. The role serves residents aged 50+ and persons with disabilities, operating a 7–20 passenger ADA bus from the Tonganoxie site, with daily routes across Leavenworth County and KC metro area.

Salary is $20.49/hour. Requires a high school diploma, valid license, CDL with passenger endorsement, CPR/AED certification, and a pre-employment drug/alcohol test plus background check.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Must have the ability to obtain a CDL with passenger endorsement and be certified in AED and CPR.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test and KBI background check.
• Ability to relate to senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services to residents in southern Leavenworth County (80%).
• Maintains a daily maintenance log (5%).
• Collects transportation fees (4%).
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness (6%).
• All other duties as assigned (5%).
