Sedgwick County Aging & Disabilities is seeking a part-time van driver to provide ramp and/or lift-enabled passenger transportation in a safe, timely, and professional manner. The role includes transporting passengers, complying with DOT/FTA regulations, and performing vehicle inspections.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, two years of commercial driving, a valid Kansas license, and a DOT medical card.
Work Schedule: Varied, Monday-Friday 6:00am-6:00pm

Provide ramp and/or lift accessible passenger transportation in a safe, professional and timely manner.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years' commercial driving or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience using navigation equipment such as GPS device used in automobiles. Per Sedgwick County policy, this is a driving level position that requires a valid Kansas driver’s license without restrictions and current proof of automobile insurance. Valid Dept. of Transportation (DOT) physical exam medical card qualifying individuals to drive a commercial vehicle.
Three (3) years' commercial driving or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience using navigation equipment such as tablet with GPS software and auto vehicle (AV) locator for route and scheduling updates. Valid State of Kansas CDL Driver’s License with A or B passenger endorsement. Bilingual skills a plus.
