Job summary

Asbury Communities is seeking a Resident Transport Driver at our Stroudsburg, PA location. You will safely transport residents to appointments, outings and activities, while supporting the Maintenance and Life Enrichment teams to keep the community clean, safe and welcoming.

This part-time role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Background check is mandatory, and Direct Care Staff Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's license required.
• 1 year experience with seniors preferred.
• Direct Care Staff Training Certification as provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments, outings and activities.
• Support Maintenance and Life Enrichment teams when not transporting.
• Assist residents into/out of vehicle and with wheelchairs.
• Inspect and operate wheelchair transport vehicles safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the facility.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed during transfers.
• Follow safety protocols and driving records requirements.
• Never leave vehicle running or keys unattended.
• Contribute to resident well-being during outings and events.
