Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Provider Contracting Senior Advisor to lead contracting and network management for LifeSOURCE Transplant Network across the Northeast. You will independently manage 40–50 facilities, oversee renewals, new agreements, and provider escalations, while advancing affordability and access.

You are a strategic negotiator with deep healthcare contracting experience, capable of handling complex deals and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of commercial healthcare contracting and negotiation with hospitals or similar entities.
• Experience negotiating reimbursement and contract language with sophisticated provider groups.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret reimbursement models and contract performance.
• Ability to manage a large portfolio of active contracts and multiple negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex contract negotiations with hospitals, transplant centers, and advanced cellular therapy providers.
• Negotiate reimbursement rates, terms, renewals, amendments, and new provider agreements.
• Develop agreements using various reimbursement methodologies including bundled payments and value-based arrangements.
• Manage financial and operational performance of provider agreements and conduct data-driven opportunity analysis.
