NY STATE ELECTRIC & GAS CORP is seeking a Principal Engineer – Transmission & Substation Asset Planning in Rochester, NY, with responsibility for developing capital projects to IP2, coordinating TSRG reviews, and ensuring alignment with investment plans.

The role requires extensive leadership across cross-functional teams, strong regulatory and ISO interaction, and a track record of shaping long‑term T&S strategies within a utility context.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 10+ years in T&S planning, design, or operations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop majority of new T&S capital projects to Conceptual design level (IP2).
• Lead TSRG reviews and coordinate with regulators and ISO.
• Provide technical oversight for all T&S capital projects from inception through construction.
