Job summary

The City of Lake Worth Beach invites applications for the position of Transmission and Substation Engineer Manager. This full-time, exempt role offers an annual salary range of $115,920 to $155,250.

Responsibilities include managing engineering projects, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and significant experience in medium and high voltage substations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in operations, maintenance, and engineering of medium and high voltage substations.
• Professional Engineering registration in Florida is preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electric generating equipment cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of substation engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Prepare and review project scopes and proposals.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to junior staff.
