Job summary

Laveer Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for a 1-year assignment focusing on Transmission and Substation projects. The role involves managing the Early Stage process for high-voltage projects, leading procurement, engineering, permitting, and land activities.

The ideal candidate should have 11 – 15 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and proven skills in managing large-scale projects. Remote work is possible for qualified candidates.

• Prepare RFP packages to source engineering, survey, geotechnical, LiDAR, and construction services.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Project Manager – Transmission & Substation

Location: Juno Beach, FL or Remote (qualified candidates).

Contract: 1‑year assignment (W‑2). Early Stage (ES) Project Manager – Transmission & Substation. Manage the Early Stage process for high‑voltage transmission and substation projects within E&C. Lead procurement, engineering, permitting, and land activities. Not responsible for site‑based construction management. Report to onsite manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of project plans with focus on execution, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate diverse teams including Development, Land, Environmental, Legal, Regulatory, Procurement (ISC), Engineering, and Operations.
• Prepare RFP packages to competitively source engineering, survey, geotechnical, LiDAR, and construction services.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 11 – 15 years of experience.
• Experience managing projects >$100MM.
• Strong scope, schedule, and cost management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel (~25%).

Base salary range estimated $40.00/hr to $45.00/hr, dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills.
