Job summary

Energy + Environmental Economics (E3) seeks an Associate Director of Transmission to lead strategy engagements for utilities and their transmission businesses. You will develop end-to-end processes for delivery across multiple development models and guide client staff during transition.

You will coordinate with engineering, planning, finance, and regulatory teams, manage risk, and drive structure and accountability in complex projects.

Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in engineering, economics, CS or related field (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated hands-on experience in transmission planning or related domains.
Strong project management and leadership capabilities for multi-party environments.

Responsibilities

Lead customer engagements and guide analytical work streams and client requests.
Design and implement a Transmission Strategy with governance and decision rights.
Define new internal processes for transmission and align with ISO/RTO stakeholders.
Build KPI framework and dashboards for transmission buildout and performance.
